Real Wide Calf Rain Boots - Widest Fit in the US. Perfect for watching soccer matches, country walks or just getting on with jobs in the backyard, these extra wide calf rain boots will fit like a glove for anybody with 16 to 23 inch calves.
First boot I’ve found in over a decade that actually fits my big calves. They are adjustable on both sides with a buckle. The inside buckles I keep getting stuck together when I walk so I have to change my stride and walk wide legged. And they are large around my ankles. I wear an 8.5 wide normally so I went to a 9 for the boots. I probably could have gone to an 8. That maybe would have helped the feel of the loose ankles. Overall I’m just so happy that I have a rain boot I can wear.
These boots are great -- so nice to have boots I don't have to squirm to get into, and that are too tight in the calf. And they are cute! They are supper comfortable, although it would be nice if they had more arch support, so I recommend getting a roomy size so you can add an insert. We'll see how rugged they are after a season of field sampling.
I've never been able to find boots to fit my ginormous calfs. I had a pail of ankle Jileon boots that fit well, so when I saw these I figured I'd give them a try. They have two panels that stretch, and these allow the boots to actually fit my calf AND my shoe size! So happy to finally have propet knee-high rain boots!
When placing this order you will get one Amazon tracking link for both the boot and the liners however it is only accurate for the liners. the boot liner came within a few days however it to the boots almost another week or so to arrive. I did reach out to Customer service about this and they provided the tracking number at that time. The boot themself are quite heavy, good material and expand on both side for extra room. Sadly they cause a pain in the back part of my leg so I had to return them. But I'm hoping to order the ankle length soon.
I'm so excited to have my first pair of tall rubber boots. I've suffered through wet outdoor activities for years because I couldn't find a pair of tall rubber boots that fit. I'm looking forward to showing off my beautiful purple boots the next time I lay tracks at my dog training group's tracking events.
I was a little concerned that the "extra wide" ankle and foot might make the boots too sloppy for the kind of walking I do when tracklaying, which is over hill and dale, through tall vegetation, water crossings, etc. but these boots are comfortable and seem to be rugged enough to handle it. They'll get a trial by fire next Spring if not still this year if the weather holds.
I did order my normal athletic shoe size, and the fit is just right.
