"I cannot express how pleased I am that I took the plunge and purchased these!!! I have always wanted a pair of rainboots, but have never found a pair to fit.

Now into my 30s my life long dream to own a pair finally came true. It's the little things like this that make me smile...they are super comfy, easy to put on and take off and are simply beautiful!!!"

How to Choose Boots that Fit

Measure your Calf

Sit down and place your feet flat on the floor in front of you. Wear what you would typically wear when you are outside walking. Take a tape measure and wrap it around the widest part of your calf, taking care not to leave a gap

Check your Foot Width

Use a soft tape measure or string. Measure across the widest part of your foot. Compare with chart to identify foot width size.

Choose the Right Shoe Size

Our boots come up large, so we always recommend to take your normal shoe size, or if you are between sizes, size down.
For example, if you are between a size 6 and 7, choose a size 6 with our Jileon range.

Do Jileon Rainboots really Fit?

How can I tell if your wide calf boots will fit me?

Try our 1 minute boot finder quiz. Just type in your measurements in 4 quick questions, and we will advise the right boots for you. It takes no time and you don't need to sign up to anything.

I don't like buying shoes online, as I worry they won't fit

While buying online is tricky for footwear, we have detailed size guides and our 1 minute boot finder to help. Rainboots don't need to be an absolute perfect fit, as you can use thick socks to fill them out.

You can also walk around indoors in your house in our boots for as long as you like to test them out, and if they really don't fit, just send them back and we will refund you.

I have tried loads of boots in shops and online. None have fitted. Why is Jileon different?

Quite simply, we don't make normal size rainboots, just wide fitting boots. Therefore everything from our soles to the bend in the ankle and the lower calf shape are designed for curvy feet and legs.

Just take a look at some of our reviews and you will see so many examples of people who took the plunge after years of hunting and now explore the great outdoors in dry comfort.

How large are wide calf rainboots?

Typically any boot above 16 inch calf circumference is classified as wide calf. We have specific ranges for everybody from 16 up to 23inch. Our extra wide calf category is for boots larger than 18in calf. Most of our boots are expandable so you can adapt them to fit your exact leg size.

Are all wide calf rainboots larger in the foot and ankle?

No, this is a common misconception. Most manufacturers claim to make wide calf rubber boots, but do not then expand the rest of the boot to meet the needs of wide calf customers.

We have a unique mould designed over 18 years of experience which is wide in the calf, but also provides more space in the ankle area so you can get your foot in, while also making the toe box spacious. If you do have slim feet and ankles, we also have a version to suit you too.

How comfy are your wide calf rainboots?

We design our rainboots to be super comfy, knowing that sore feet are no fun. You get padded insoles as standard together with a chunky tough heel. The soft rubber and cotton lining ensure the boot moves with you to stop rubbing. If you do suffer from sore feet, we do recommend adding our wide foot orthotic insoles which will transform any walk.
