Rainboots and How they Fit
I have tried on loads of rainboots and none have fitted. Why are Jileon boots different?
Other manufacturers work with a standard mould for their wellington boot manufacture and just cut the rubber at the top to allow more space there.
We realise that wide calf rainboots need to be wide throughout the foot, ankle
and leg and so have created our own unique mould which is genuinely wide fit.
This allows you to slip them on and off easily and still provides space for thick socks for most people.
Where do you manufacture your rainboots?
All of our boots are designed in the UK but there are no rubber boot factories in the US that can make our styles.
Therefore, our rainboots are made in Asia in a factory we have been working with for many years now.
How do I choose the right pair to fit me?
We provide a simple guide to measuring your feet and leg correctly.
Then you can see which of our boots will work for your measurements. Take a look at our size guide here
What shoe size should I take?
Our boots come up large. We always recommend taking your normal shoe size even if you would normally go a size up when buying wellies, and want to fit thick socks. If you are between sizes (e.g. 6.5), then we would recommend sizing down to a 6 for example.
This recommendation is from 18 years of experience of selling our boots. We really do want you to get the right boot first time.
What are your boots made from?
We manufacture our boots from 100% high quality durable rubber, which is vegan. They are built to last and we guarantee them for 1 year, which is longer than most other manufacturers offer, as we believe in the quality we offer.
How do you design your wellies?
We have been making wide calf wellies now for over 15 years. During this
time, every time we have developed new models, it has been based on the
feedback of our customers.
There are millions of people who are not looked after by the larger welly
manufacturers, and we want to help. Most manufacturers make wide calf wellies
in the same mould as their normal boots but just expand the boots at the top.
This does not take into account the fact that most curvy people also need more
space in the foot and ankle.
We design our boots from the sole upwards to meet your needs with our unique
wide fitting mould.
We are proud to say that we manufacture the widest calf wellies in the
world, and have got tens of thousands of people back into wellies for the first
time in years.
Can I try out your boots in any shops?
We are an online business, so do not sell into retailers in the US. This allows us to provide you with the boots at cheaper prices by not having to pay the retailer.
We realise that it can be tricky to buy footwear confidently online but have created a detailed size guide to help you choose the right boots first time.
Take a look here at our sizing page and if you still have any concerns or need help, you can call us on +44 1488 647253 or
email us at help@jileon.com
I have wide calves but narrow ankles. Do you have any boots to fit me?
We have had a lot of customers over the years who have found our traditional boots too baggy in the ankles.
Therefore we have designed a new rainboot that should work for you perfectly.
Take a look at this collection. They are still wide in the calf but more fitted in the ankle to make walks more comfortable for you.
Shipping
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes, we offer free shipping on all of our US boots. Furthermore, if you need them quicker, you can pay for expedited delivery.
For any accessory orders over $30, they also qualify for free delivery but under $30, there is a $4.99 charge.
How long does delivery take?
Being free doesn’t mean it should take a long time. But, delivery times
do vary and depend on your
location.
Typically our boots will take 3-7 days to reach you
How do I know when my order will be delivered?
Assuming you’ve given us a mobile or e-mail address, you will be sent a link to the tracking details of your delivery.
Usually they are sent out via UPS or USPS and you can follow the tracking online.
What should I do if my boots have not arrived as expected?
Please allow up to 10 working days and check the tracking details.
After this time, please contact your local depot and your neighbours as they may have tried to deliver whilst you were out and not left a card (it
does happen).
If they don’t have your parcel, please contact us directly and we’ll see what we can do.
We do tend to find that it is often easier to contact the delivery service directly as you know your local area better than we do, and can often help to locate any misplaced goods.
Do you ship to Canada?
Yes we do. All you need to do is choose the CAD currency at the top of the page near the menu and you can see the stock that can be shipped to Canada, and get your pricing in Canadian Dollars
There is a shipping cost of $39.99 CAD for all Canadian orders. This includes all duties and taxes so you dont have to worry about that (approx $20 CAD)
Returns
My boots don't fit. Can I return them?
We understand that buying boots on the internet can be difficult, as you never know if they will fit. We are happy to provide a refund if you are not happy with them for any reason.
All we ask is that they are returned in 'as new condition' within 60 days of receipt. We recommend trying them on indoors to avoid damaging the soles.
Please go to Jileon Rain Boots Returns.
We can then guide you through the simple process, whether you need a refund or an exchange.
How can I return my boots?
We offer cheap easy returns via USPS and FedEx and it is a really simple process.
Follow this link to start your return - we can do exchanges or refunds.
You will receive a label to send the boots back from USPS or FedEx. They each have plenty of easily accessible local drop off points at Walgreens, other grocery stores, postal counters and post offices.
Once these are received and approved in 'as new condition', we will refund you for your order. Please do remember to include your order number and details in the package.
Can I exchange my boots for a different size?
Yes that is easy. Please just go to our returns page at Jileon Rain Boots Exchanges
You can select the size and boot you want and will guide you through the process.
There is a $10 shipping handling cost for all exchanges, which covers both the return and the costs of sending the replacements out to you.
What is the $2.99 Free Returns option?
We offer you the option to unlock free return shipping later for the eligible items in your order by paying a small $2.99 returns fee at the time of purchase.
If you choose to pay this fee during purchase, there is no additional charge for shipping your boots back to us. If you choose not to pay this fee during your purchase, there will be a $10 returns shipping fee, deducted from your refund.
Do you have to pay to return the boots if they don't fit?
We have excellent rates and just charge you $10 for your return, which is deducted from your refund. Please just follow this link to go through our returns process.
At checkout, you can also choose to pay $2.99 up front and get free returns on your order.
My boots are damaged. How do I get a replacement pair?
We offer a 1 year warranty on all of our boots for normal wear and tear damage.
To save costs and time on both sides, if you do have a problem, please take some photos of the damage and send them to us at usasales@jileon.com together with your name, address and order number.
This will allow us to take a look at the damage quickly and get some replacements sent out for you.
Please don't send the boots back to us unless we request it. Our policy is to replace the boots within warranty rather than refund you
Do you extend the returns window for Christmas presents?
Of course. For Christmas gifts, you can return these up until January 15th for a full refund.
I live in Canada. How do I return my boots?
Unfortunately our returns portal only works for US orders currently.
However we do offer returns for Canada too. Please email us at usasales@jileon.com with your order number and what you would like to return and we will get a returns label sent out to you. This cost is around $15-$20 and we will deduct this from your refund.
