Perfect for trip to Peru

I just returned from my trip to the Amazon area of Peru. These were perfect for climbing in and out of boats, and walking on muddy trails for several hours at a time. They were very comfortable and easy to pull on and off. They were perfect for my wide calves and large ankles. I'm very happy to have found them, as others I tried on were too tight in the calves, or ankles, or both.

A move to more calf widths in the future?

I don't have skinny or normal calves, but this pair of boots is too wide. I knew they would be loose, but I wanted to try Jileon boots and support the business concept.
Luckily, the boots are lightweight, so while the flapping of the boot shaft around my calves is annoying, but not so uncomfortable as to be painful. I have yet to walk more than three miles in them.
The boots lack insoles, so they feel particularly loose. I saw the UK version of the Jileon site has insoles, but I just stuck in my AllBirds insoles and called it a day.
