Ankle Height Rain Boots - Black Matt with Rainbows - Wide Foot

Finally…a wide ankle rain boot I can fit into! I absolutely love them!!! Thank you for thinking of the bigger ankle girls!!!

I really want to love these boots. They're well made, they look great, and - hallelujah - they're wide enough for my funky wide feet. The length and width are actually just perfect for me. This is so rare and unusual, it's worth celebrating.

Unfortunately, however, they're not quite deep enough from top to bottom. There's not enough volume in the shoe portion of the boot. I started the day with a perfect fit, but as my feet swelled over the course of the day, the boots became progressively more snug. After a few hours of wear, I found that the top of the boot was digging into my foot with every step. At first it was mildly uncomfortable, but by the end of the day I was limping.

I tried ordering the next size up, but found that didn't improve the top-to-bottom fit, and my feet were swimming from the additional length and width.

These are so close to being right for me, and I can't find any other product that comes close to fitting. I replaced the Jilion insoles with some very expensive super-thin insoles, to create more volume inside the boot. They're still too tight with regular socks. My current solution is super-thin socks, along with the super-thin insoles. This works for now, in mid-summer, but as the weather starts to cool, I'm not sure what I'll do.

Bummer. The dream of dry and comfortable feet continues.

I have a high arch and have finally found comfortable and super easy to put on boots. I will definitely buy another pair and recommend these boots.
